Ax Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Ax Docs Scanner app, provided by Amionyx. By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or use the App with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the App.
3. Your documents
You own the documents you scan and create. They are stored only on your device, so you are responsible for keeping copies of important files: uninstalling the App or losing your phone deletes them, and we cannot recover them.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to:
- Copy or alter documents you are not entitled to, such as other people's identity documents without permission.
- Create forged, counterfeit or fraudulent documents.
- Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer or misuse the App or our servers.
5. The App
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App. The App, its design and the Amionyx name and marks belong to Amionyx. The App uses open-source software under its own licences (see Settings → Open-source licenses).
6. No warranty
The App is provided “as is”. Automatic edge detection, image enhancement and QR reading can make mistakes: check important documents before relying on or sending them. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Amionyx is not liable for loss of documents or data, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the law.
9. Changes
We may update the App and these terms. For significant changes we will tell you in the App; continuing to use it means you accept the updated terms.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
